How high should you hang a poster?

The gallery rule is simple: the center of the piece sits at 57 inches — average eye level. Above a sofa, leave six to eight inches between the frame and the cushion so the art breathes.

For our 18 × 24 in editions, that means the top of the frame lands around 69 inches off the floor. Painter's tape is your friend: mock the rectangle on the wall, live with it for a day, then commit.

Keeping pigment prints vivid for decades

Archival inks are rated for a century, but glass does half the work. Hang out of prolonged direct sun, choose UV-filtering glazing for bright rooms, and never mount with heat or dry-mount tissue.

Dust frames with a dry cloth and keep humidity steady — if books are happy on the shelf, your print is happy on the wall.

Why we retire designs at two hundred

Scarcity is not a marketing trick for us — it is how we keep the work honest. A short run means every impression gets pressed, checked, signed, and numbered by a person who cares.

Once a design sells through, the files are retired permanently. Collectors keep the value, and the walls keep something nobody else down the street has.
